A Letter from the PresidentCADVenture, Inc. has evolved from humble beginnings in 1985 and has been blessed with great employees and great clients around the Great Lakes Region. In fact, many of our customers have been with us since our inception. The reason for this has become increasingly clear to many of you over the years. While other CAD resellers sell software, we take it a step further. We’re concerned with the VALUE of services we provide that enhance your SolidWorks experience. We have grown our install base by listening to our customers and filling the needs they bring to us. In return, our clients have been the ones who have spread the news of SolidWorks and the services we provide allowing us to grow as a company. Rather than being content, we as a company have decided that it is our responsibility to continually push the envelope and redefine the role of CAD reseller. We have a simple goal: to improve productivity, increase efficiency and accelerate information flow by empowering end users and support technicians to work together in new and exciting ways. With that said, you will continue to see many firsts in this industry initiated by our company. As SolidWorks leads the industry for the innovation inherent in its software, so too will CADVenture continue to innovate in terms of the support offerings and services available to our customers. We were the first (and only as far as I know) to offer FREE monthly Tech-Talk sessions (one on one project specific training) to our subscription customers. The first to offer a proprietary computer based training option giving our clients the ability to train employees at their own pace. The first to offer Night Schools, Walkarounds, custom training, online support, etc., etc. In that proud tradition, 2006 will further redefine what CAD users should come to expect from their reseller. This year, we are proud to offer our clients the “Virtual Office.” In today’s electronic age, technology allows us to overcome such things as geographical boundaries with the touch of a button. This new offering allows our customers to access our facilities and personnel without ever leaving the comfort of their office. Imagine, live one-on-one or group meetings at the touch of a button. This new offering will save our clients time and money. Additionally, 2006 will see CADVenture unveiling the “3D Wiz.” Each new CADVenture account will have a 3D implementation specialist assigned to them for a one-year period. During this time, the 3D Wiz will be the single-point technical contact, helping guide them through critical points of the implementation process thus ensuring their success. The 3D Wiz ensures continuity, accountability, and success. Your investment deserves nothing less. We are proud of our reputation for putting the customer first in every area of our operations and feel that this attitude is one of the most important contributors to our success and to satisfying the needs of our customers. We are confident that our people will continue to provide the necessary tools to significantly reduce the time required to migrate to SolidWorks. We would also like to thank our customers for their continued feedback that allows us to continually lead our industry with new and innovative solutions to today’s problems, and tomorrow's. I am proud of the relationships we have developed, the problems we have solved, and that together we have contributed towards making the Great Lakes region a more competitive force in the global economy.
